Objectives

To provide expertise and services in procurement, storage and supply of goods and services for the Institute

This Unit will perform the following activities: –

  1. Advise the management on matters pertaining to the procurement of goods and services and logistics management in the Institute;
  2. Ensure that the Institute adhere to procurement processes and procedures as per Public Procurement Act;
  3. Develop and facilitate implementation of an annual procurement plan for the Institute;
  4. Procure, maintain and manage supplies, materials, and services to support the logistical requirements of the Institute;
  5. Ensure proper handling and storage, adequate and timely distribution of office supplies and materials;
  6. Maintain and update inventory of goods, supplies and materials;
  7. Provide Secretariat services to the Institute’s Tender Board as per PPA and its Regulations; and
  8. Coordinate the disposal of unwanted materials.
