Higher expectations as TICD, Oslo Metropolitan University Collaborate After two years of pandemic which showed the downsides of an interconnected world with the rapid spread of the virus, today February 22, 2023, a group of 12 Students from Oslo Metropolitan University in Norway, land at Tengeru Institute of Community Development for the purpose of strengthening the collocations.Speaking on behalf of Oslo Metrolitan University team, Professor Hege Roaldset revealed that the team from his University, amongst, other things, intend to learn about Tanzanian culture in relation to research data collection the Oslo University students’ intent to collect.Addressing that gathering, Professor Hege Roaldset, those students will spend about five weeks in Dar es Salaam and Arusha focusing on their studies in collaboration with partner institute.Speaking on behalf of TICD, The Deputy Rector for Academic, Research and Consultancy Dr. George Kinyashi confirms for the maximum cooperation throughout that study tour and vocation as well.Meanwhile, Dr. Kinyashi argues that this visit is part of partnership agreement between the two education institutions that includes students visit and learn hosts’ culture together with exchange program where students enrolled in one institution can study in the other. The visiting students are divided into three groups according to their areas of concentration which are education, marketing and health.
