PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Future operations of organizations are invariably unpredictable, because of involved risks and uncertainties; as a result, those involved in overseeing organizations’ operation need to have a thorough understanding of how to manage risks in order to prepare organization for the unexpected by mitigating or minimizing the impacts of risk even before it occurs by acting proactively rather than reactively. This programme focuses in risk management and insurance. It intends to provide participants with knowledge on significance of managing risks; understand and apply procedures for managing risks; comprehend and apply procedures for identifying risks; understand procedures for financing risks; and apply procedures for assessing, monitoring and reviewing risks.
